OOTD: Family Funday

My outfit for the Rotary Club of St. Andrew North’s Family Funday was simple & I think elegant. I paired an oversize shirt with a comfortable pair of shorts with my most trusted D’NexStep Sling Baby and a cute shoulder bag I got as a birthday gift from a friend.

Flower Child: DIY Flower Crown

I am a fan of  Lana Del Rey! Her music and her style is just awesome! One Sunday when I was enjoying my daily dose of Ms. Rey, I got the great idea of channeling my inner Lana by making a flower crown.

I used items I found in my house to make it and it came in really  handy for Halloween (I went to my Rotaract Club’s Halloween Lyme as Katy Perry in her “Roar” video).

I gathered an assortment of flowers from around my house

OOTN: Eastern Night……London Lights

On Wednesday August 21, 2013, I visited the Rotaract Club of St. Thomas’ Installation Ceremony. This was my final Installation for the season and I really enjoyed the experience. I wasn’t sure what to wear and I did put an outfit together the night before but changed my mind the morning of the Installation.

OOTD: Benefit Play

My Rotaract Club in association with Royalta Production presented a benefit performance of  the gospel play “Yet Will I Trust”,  April 26-27, 2013. I went to the April 27 performance & I enjoyed every minute of it! Aside from Tyler Perry plays, I have never watched much gospel plays so I was a bit apprehensive. I wasn’t sure if I would relate but I did. It was a great performance and very relevant.

I got a lovely pair of  high-waisted shorts from my mom & so I decided to wear it to the play. Here’s how I styled my shorts:

OOTN: Dressed to the Nine

On April 4, 2013, my Rotaract Club celebrated it’s ninth anniversary (April 1) with a Cocktail party in Graham Heights. It was a great event & an excellent way to celebrate a great organization.

I decided to celebrate the festivities in gold. Hope you like!

OOTD: Frenchbook

Easter time is party season in Jamaica. Usually I stay home but this year I decided to check out one party (only because Sizzla was performing)….Frenchbook! I opted for a very casual look because I thought it was more ‘live music appropriate” & it was also a beach party, so my look fit that  too.
