#IAMREMARKABLE: My For Women To Women The Gathering Experience… Part Deux

The first hosting of For Women To Women’s The Gathering left such an indelible mark on me, I couldn’t help but register for the second staging. So on Sunday, December 20, I headed to Lady Musgrave Road.

Unlike the first event, I was early this time which made me even more excited for the day!

This staging was a little different from the first because it featured a very special guest, Nicole McLaren-Campbell, Motivational Speaker and Entrepreneur.

We got off to a bit of a late start but it was well worth the wait. We started off with welcome and introductions. We were asked to share why we were remarkable and the most remarkable thing that we experienced in 2015.

In a world that idolizes competition more than cooperation especially among females, it was quite refreshing to be in the company of positive, accomplished & goal-oriented women who were all remarkable in their own right.

I was blown away by the achievements of the group of young women I had the pleasure of sitting at the table with. It was inspiring to hear how these fabulous ladies all overcame challenges and achieved the goals they had set for themselves.

Though time was against us, we were able to share and leave the event with an invigorated spirit after our spirited conversation.

 

 

 

I would advise any 20-something or 30-something  woman to attend at least one FWTW Gathering in their life. I am definitely looking forward to the next one.
