My Weekend At Sandals Ochi Beach Resort : Part 2

We were advised by the staff that there was a shuttle bus that takes guests to the All-Butler Village & Great House Estate but we decided not to be divas & walk.

It was a walk indeed!

After signing in with the security, we were greeted by the driveway which was a massive uphill climb (or at least that’s how it felt).

We took a break under a bridge with an awesome mural depicting what I assume is Jamaica’s breathtaking flora & fauna.

Can you tell how tired yours truly is!

When we got over the hill, I was awed by the beauty that awaited us.

Lunch at the Great House

The pool side was simply amazing with built in lounge chairs and bistro tables as well as a swim up bar.

After the walk up the hill, we were rather hungry so we took one of the very helpful staff member’s advice & dined at the Southern Table.

Lunch was buffet style & most of the offerings were Italian.

Our delicious Pina Colada with Appleton Rum of course!

After lunch, we decided to continue exploring the property.

We did not get too far because we stumbled on some private cabanas & we decided to take a break.

This little cabana was too cute

After what felt like a lifetime in paradise we decided to head up to the main entrance of the Great House.

The resort’s decor was simply superb. It was very modern, clean & chic.

We headed back to the Riviera after we made a quick stop at Dino’s for some soft serve ice cream.

Naturally the walk down the hill seemed much shorter & quite easy.

We retired to our room for a quick nap & to get ready for dinner.

We were encouraged to dine at  Vista Sky Terrace by our very pleasant server at breakfast Dean Paul.

Can you tell I am enjoying my dinner?

After dessert, we were treated to a seaside Opera performance!

Earlier in the morning, I noticed a staircase leading downstairs which we decided to explore after dinner.

We never expected more than the entrance to the beach…we were pleasantly surprised to find about 6 other restaurants & the actual beach club.

The last day in paradise was bittersweet. We both overslept a bit so we weren’t able to have breakfast at the Great House like we planned. Nonetheless, our breakfast at the Vista Sky Terrace was good.

After breakfast, we strolled to the promenade to relax before we checked out.

We checked out by 11 AM & we were on our way back home.

I know the post was picture heavy but I just don’t think words would have been enough to show you the beauty of the Sandals Ochi Beach Resort & the awesome time yours truly had.

I have to thank my dear friend Nicole for accompanying me on the trip & for helping me with the photos!!!

Thank You so much for sticking around until the end & look out for the vlog!

Peace & Love
